University of Nairobi Staff from Central Department Trained on Website Technologies

University of Nairobi staff drawn from Central Department has been trained on website technologies. The training was conducted at Chiromo Campus today, June, 10, 2016.

Speaking during the training exercise, Mr. Leonard Musyoka, the Head of Performance Contract Secretariat noted that the University performance is pegged on two issues; being performance contract and web ranking.

It is in this regard that the University staff are being trained on ICT skills to help them improve their performance, reach their targets and surpass the targets.

The University of Nairobi has prioritised staff training, as part of skills competence and needs assessment. Continuous training of its workforce and equipping them with practical skills to help them in achieving their mandate has been one of the strengths of the University.

The website training was conducted by officers from the Information Technology Centre ( ICT) , being : Mr. Paul Kariuki, the  ICTC Deputy Director (MIS), Ms. Ruth Wambua, Ms. Miriam Maina , David Wekesa, Eunah Njoroge and Mr. Peter Oluoch.
