Book Launch on Religion Reconstruction

 

 

 On Wednesday 18 July 2018 the Vice Chancellor, Professor P.M. Mbithi launched the book titled Religion ad Social Reconstruction in Africa, edited by Professor Elias K. Bongmba, of Rice University, Houston, Texas USA, in honor of Professor J.N.K. Mugambi, Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies, University of Nairobi, published by Routledge, London, June 2018.

 Professor Prof. Julius Ogen’go, Ag. Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Student Affairs represented the Vice Chancellor at this Event, attended also by the Principal, CHSS, Prof. Enoch Njeru. This is the first Event of its kind in the history of the University of Nairobi. The Vice Chancellor, congratulated Professor Mugambi for eliciting so much interest among scholars in his academic discipline— from so many universities across the world. He encouraged other scholars to strive toward such international recognition and appreciation.

 The book is in the Routledge Series World Christianity and Interreligious Relations, edited by Professor Frans Wijsen, of Radboud University, Netherlands. The contributing Scholars are: Rev.
