The University of Nairobi (UoN) and Huawei signed a collaborative agreement that will see UoN become the 1st authorized Huawei Academy Support Center in Eastern Africa.
The agreement was signed by Vice Chancellor Prof. Stephen Kiama and Steve Kamuya, Director for Enterprise Business at Huawei Kenya.
Prof. Kiama welcomed the signing of the agreement saying the University was privileged to partner with Huawei, which is a key player in digital transformation globally.
Huawei will support the establishment of the Huawei ICT Academy Support Center at University of Nairobi that will spearhead digital transformation programs in Kenya and the region.
