Vice Chancellor (Ag) Delivers Inspiring Keynote at Local Universities Fair

The Vice Chancellor (Ag), Prof Margaret Hutchinson graced the Local Universities Fair, organized by the United Asian Network, as the Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker on November 16, 2024. The event, held at the Aga Khan Pavillion brought together students, educators, and institutions to discuss opportunities for collaboration and innovation in higher education.

In a powerful keynote address, Prof Hutchinson delved into the evolving dynamics of education, emphasizing the need to adapt to a rapidly changing technological and geopolitical landscape. "Education today must prepare learners for an interconnected, technology-driven world. As educators, we must anticipate global shifts and equip our students to lead in uncertain times," she stated.

She further highlighted the role of universities in fostering resilience and innovation, stressing that collaboration across institutions and nations is vital to address shared challenges. Also present was the United Asian Network Chair, Dr Bimal Kantaria who introduced Prof Hutchinson as a person who has overcome all odds to take the highest position in academia.

The fair showcased a variety of academic programs from participating universities and offered a platform for cultural and intellectual exchange. The Vice Chancellor (Ag), lauded the United Asian Network for its efforts in creating opportunities for dialogue and partnership among local and regional institutions.
