Dr. Obimbo is a Clinical Scientist and a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Human Anatomy, University of Nairobi. He has a Ph.D in Human Anatomy degree from the University of Nairobi and a Postdoctoral Fellowship from the University of California San Francisco, Department of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproductive Sciences, California, USA.

Currently, Dr. Moses Obimbo is; the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of East and Central Africa, Chairman, Chiromo Funeral Parlour Management Committee, Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Kenyatta National Hospital as well as the M.Sc and Ph.D co-ordinator at the Department of Human Anatomy.
