On 2 March 2022, UNESCO-ICHEI hosted an official meeting with the University of Nairobi, the rotating presidency unit of the International Institute of Online Education (IIOE), on its 2022 development strategy and work plan. Both parties exchanged views and reached a consensus on IIOE's work priorities and cooperation in the coming year. Professor Li Ming, Director of ICHEI proposed a 2022 work plan highlighting four key areas.
