The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Nairobi participated in the launch of the book “Conversations with the Pathfinders: Kenyan Women in Politics, Leadership, Social Mobilization and Constitution Making” during International Women’s Day.

The book was written by the  Women Economic Empowerment hub, University of Nairobi, in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Service, Gender, Senior Citizens Affairs and Special Programs, UN Women, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

The second leading Pharmaceutical company in the region which has been in existence for over 40 years, COSMOS, has signed a collaborative agreement with the University of Nairobi that will see the two institutions mutually benefit whilst providing exciting opportunities to the student community.

Tuesday 15th February 2022, the Vice President and Regional Director for Africa at World Resources Institute, Wanjira Maathai, met the University of Nairobi Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Kiama to discuss potential areas of collaboration between the two institutions.
