University of Nairobi Explores Collaborative Opportunities with Namibian Universities

The University of Nairobi, under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Stephen Kiama, has embarked on an exciting journey of international collaboration. In a recent meeting, Prof. Kiama engaged in fruitful discussions with Prof. Dr. José Luis Rivers, a renowned veterinarian and expert in Agriculture from the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry, and Prof. Dr. Ricardo Campos, a distinguished Kinesiologist and member of the Faculty of Medicine at the prestigious Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.

The Washington State University President, Prof. Kirk Schulz visited the University of Nairobi to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions.

The University of Nairobi Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Stephen Kiama met and held fruitful discussions with Prof. Kirk Schulz, the 11th president of Washington State University and a tenured professor in the Gene and Linda Voiland School of Chemical Engineering. Prof Schultz visited the University of Nairobi to discuss and explore potential areas of collaboration between the two institutions and how to strengthen the existing networks and linkages

UoN Vice Chancellor held a meeting with the Governor for Embu County, Her Excellency Hon. Cecilly Mbarire. The two leaders explored areas of collaboration between Embu County and the University of Nairobi. The University of Nairobi will support the county in development of the County Integrated Development plan, Spatial Plan, Human Resource among others.
