    The University of Nairobi hosted a high-level delegation from France’s National Institute for Research in Digital Science and Technology (INRIA) on October 2, 2025, for a courtesy call aimed at strengthening ties in digital science and technology.

    The University of Nairobi received a delegation from the China University of Geosciences, Beijing (CUGB), a leading institution in China under the Ministry of Natural Resources, on September 23, 2025. The courtesy call was centred on possible collaboration in the field of Geosciences.

    The University of Nairobi marked a historic milestone on September 19, 2025, as it held its 73rd Graduation Ceremony at the Chancellor’s Court. The event brought together graduands, families, faculty, partners and distinguished guests in a colourful celebration of academic excellence and achievement for 3,836 graduands.

    The University of Nairobi Vice Chancellor (Ag), Prof. Margaret Hutchinson, has been recognised by the Kenya National Innovation Agency (KeNIA) for her exemplary leadership in embedding student-led innovation clubs within the institution. The recognition was given during the Commercialisation and Entrepreneurial Institutions Leaders (CEIL) Summit 2025.

    A high-level delegation of Chinese Chief Executive Officers paid a courtesy call to the Vice Chancellor of the University of Nairobi today, as part of their wider African tour exploring areas of possible collaboration.

    Welcoming the delegation, Vice Chancellor Prof. Margaret Jesang Hutchinson described the visit as “a very rare opportunity which cannot be missed,” emphasizing the importance of private sector engagement in advancing the University’s vision.
